GRADE 9 Recreational Referee Requirements and Information

This class is geared toward the youth referee who wants to start officiating recreational games.  Ramsey Soccer Association is a Recreational organization whose games meet this requirement.  A Grade 9 licenses is the minimum requirement for handling our NWBSA Fall Season Games, Divisions 2-5.

 

1.     Minimum 14 years of age on the day of the class

2.     Can only officiate RECREATIONAL soccer game

3.     Travel games:

NOTE:  Northern Counties Soccer Assocation rules have been expanded and now all Grade 9 Referees are eligilbe to work league games but only as an Assistant Referee (AR) for certain levels of competition.  For those Grade 9 referees interested, proceed http://www.ncsanj.com/ and complete the application to become a league Referee.

4.     Must attend a one day classroom session in its entirety

5.     Pass a 50 question multiple choice classroom exam with a score of at least 75%
